nShift announced nShift ETA (estimated time of arrival), a new AI-powered capability that helps retailers make more accurate delivery promises. As not all carriers provide ETAs, nShift ETA fills the gap by providing delivery time estimates when the carrier doesn’t. nShift ETA provides real-world delivery estimates combining real-time network signals with nShift delivery platform data, fine-tuned with billions of historic data points.

Launching first in nShift Checkout, nShift ETA is built on nShift AI infrastructure and its underlying wealth of carrier network and shipment data. nShift will extend this valuable data throughout the nShift platform, from checkout through tracking and returns. As not all carriers provide ETAs, nShift ETA fills the gap by providing delivery time estimates when the carrier doesn’t.

The launch is the latest step in nShift’s broader AI strategy. In February 2026, nShift announced its AI-ready foundation for a future of agentic commerce. In March, the company introduced nShift Companion, its AI assistant for delivery optimization, providing expert delivery advice through a natural language interface. Its latest announcement in April launched multi-carrier integration connectivity with agentic AI.

nShift ETA builds on this momentum by applying AI directly to delivery timing, at the point where promise accuracy has the largest impact on checkout conversion.

nShift ETA gives retailers the option to use AI to interpret operational conditions that may affect delivery timing in specific locations. The depth of tracking data available across the nShift platform means nShift ETA can help retailers present more accurate estimated delivery times at the point of purchase. Delivery choice and timing at checkout directly affect conversion. nShift Checkout customers have reported conversion rate increases of more than 20% by expanding available delivery options.

nShift ETA gives retailers access to delivery intelligence that spans geographies, carriers, and shipment types. It draws on decades of delivery data from tens of thousands of businesses and billions of shipments, along with information from nShift’s network of over 1,000 carriers.

nShift ETA also complements nShift Companion in Checkout. nShift ETA brings delivery intelligence into the delivery promise, while nShift Companion can help merchants understand those signals and act on them with greater confidence by offering advice and information within the Checkout environment.

“AI creates the most value when it can be applied across real workflows, not just in isolated moments,” said Jurgen Leijdekker, CEO of nShift. “nShift ETA has been tuned on the world’s deepest set of delivery data to power delivery predictions with the greatest accuracy. We will continue to combine our unique data with AI-powered analytics across the nShift platform, so customers can apply delivery intelligence at every stage of the journey.”

“Checkout is the right place to start because it is where delivery choice and delivery promise directly influence conversion,” said Mattias Gredenhag, Chief Product Officer at nShift. “nShift ETA is a platform capability, not just a feature. We will make this intelligence available more broadly across nShift, so customers can benefit from it in more of the decisions and workflows that shape delivery performance and customer experience.”

Available as an optional service for nShift customers, nShift ETA will launch first in nShift Checkout, with broader rollout across the nShift platform to follow.
