Yusen Logistics will use NIC-Place to track and monitor its customers’ assets, enable road carriers throughout Europe to safely share data, and optimise logistics processes all in one platform.
Armed with FourKites’ NIC-Place solution, Yusen Logistics has already elevated customer satisfaction, enhanced its over-the-road transport processes and improved management of its fleet of subcontracted European carriers. The solution provides real-time tracking of temperature controlled vehicles, empowering the Yusen Logistics team with real-time, accurate estimated arrival times, delay notifications, and real-time temperature monitoring and alerts, — an essential capability for ensuring shipment integrity.

Yusen Logistics previously relied on a legacy in-house shipment tracking solution that, according to Frank, was outdated, lacked temperature reporting, and was burdened by fragmented, disorganized data. Since launching NIC-Place, Yusen Logistics team now has a solution that easily integrates with their hauliers as well as their own systems to give a holistic view of assets in real time across their network.
