PLUS Retail, the third-largest service supermarket organization in the Netherlands, will expand their partnership with RELEX Solutions, provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions to optimize the Promotion Management process, thereby improving customer satisfaction.

PLUS Retail, which operates in 500+ stores in the Netherlands, will expand its partnership with RELEX Solutions, a provider of unified supply chain and retail planning solutions. The goal is to optimize promotion planning, management, and the optimization process.

The solution will be implemented in every store of the PLUS, PLUS Vandaag, and COOP formats across the country, optimizing processes, ensuring high availability for campaign products, and increasing the profitability of promotions. PLUS Retail began using the RELEX forecasting and replenishment solution in 2021, followed by the implementation of RELEX Space Management capabilities, resulting in impressive outcomes.

Until recently, PLUS Retail managed promotion planning through spreadsheets, a time-intensive and resource-consuming task prone to errors and offering limited analytical options.

PLUS Retail needed a tool to help category managers make more evidence-based decisions, optimize planning processes, run more effective campaigns, find the correct price point, and negotiate better deals with suppliers to drive increased revenue and profits while reducing costs.
